It appears French president Nicolas Sarkozy was talking about a draft of the United Nations climate summit agreement when he said it had a text &#8220;similar to volapuk.&#8221; The article left out the umlaut. It has a nice brief history of the language as well as a lengthy quote. Fredol\u00c3\u00b6s! (I <em>think<\/em> that&#8217;s Volap&#252;k for &#8220;Enjoy!&#8221; as best as I can determine.
