Welcome to The Conlanger's Library. This site will contain resources for those interested in playing with language and learning how language works as well as reading enjoyable books and watching entertaining movies and television shows.
For those new to the world of constructed languages (conlangs) and those who construct them (conlangers), check out our About pages for a brief introduction. In addition to finding out about the Conlanger's Library, readers will also find a glossary of terms used by conlangers as well as an timeline of the history of conlangs going back to Ancient Greece.
The individual pages of this site contain a variety of resources. Along with films and television shows on DVD featuring conlangs, online videos are available within our Audio-Visual pages. Some inspirational (and sometimes amusing) quotations and poetry are provided. Internet resources are also collected here, pointing to yet more intriguing online sources of conlanging entertainment, inspiration, and education.
You are welcome to link directly to the home page of The Conlanger's Library. Check out this page for image links for your website.
So, feel free to explore. Whether conlanger, linguist, or simply curious passer-by, I hope you find something you like. As J.R.R. Tolkien may have said in Quenya: Á harya alassë! Enjoy!
